Manuel Pérez Flores (born 22 January 1980) is a Mexican Footballer that plays as a Midfielder for Tiburones Rojos de Veracruz on loan from CF Monterrey. He is known as El Tripa to team mates and fans alike. He began playing in the Primera División with Atlas in the 2001-2002 season stayed there until moving to monterrey in 2007. Manuel is known for his great passing abilities and his outstanding midrange shots. His great form in the last two tournaments has earned him his first summons to the Mexican National Football Team, he played his first game on February 28, 2007, when he was substituted in against Venezuela.
